Jishin Sensei ("Earthquake Teacher") is an iOS app that turns Japan's earthquake wisdom into a fun daily habit. Every day, Namazu Sensei — the legendary catfish of Japanese earthquake folklore — asks you one real-life scenario question.

- Is the app free?
- Yes — all of it. The full 68-question deck, Study Mode, Challenge, the Prepare tab and the Emergency tab are free for everyone. If you like the sensei, you can leave an optional tip in Settings; it unlocks nothing.
- I bought the Supporter unlock in an earlier version. What happens now?
- Nothing is taken away: everything it unlocked is now free for everyone, and your supporter badge stays. To show it on a new device, sign in with the same Apple Account and open Settings → Support the sensei → Restore purchases.
- Does the Emergency tab work offline?
- Yes. Emergency numbers and guides are bundled with the app and work without any connection.
- Where do the answers come from?
- Every question cites its source, mostly Japanese public agencies such as the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) and the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO). The app is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
- Is my data collected?
- No accounts, no ads, no analytics or ad SDKs. Expo (content updates) and RevenueCat (tips) receive limited technical data; see the privacy policy.
